I'm not sure of the genre but I'm pretty sure that this is an early publicity photo of Kissing the Anus of a Black Cat.

listened to a few today
bdrmm is top class, sounds like DIIV
A.A Williams is magnificent, albeit “fearless” is fearsome
Dream Wife is good fun indie guitar pop
Holy Wave are new to me, psych pop stuff. Will listen again
Keleketla! are 100% @Arkle
Cuddle Magic have the worst name in history and are alright if hardly life changing
I have played Never Good with Horses loads over the last few weeks. Will be playing this a lot. (I reckon)Lyr - Simon Armitage's (of Poet Laureate fame) new band. Largely spoken word over instrumentation. Engaging but I'm not sure I'll come back to it too much.
Early days but prefer Tempest. The new Dylan album is worth a listen - best thing he’s done in a long while.
I know they're not cool on here but the new Fontaines DC track is cracking, we're in for a treat when the new album comes out at the end of the month imo. Oh and there's a new Juan MacLean ep out @mad cyril

Class. Much prefer when people put a tiny description of the album along with the name. Too many to listen to so helps target the ones that I fancy.
Still got that Sei Still album on repeat
Aye mate, and I bet he won't be the only one. Hopefully next year will be a bumper yearcheers mate. I get the impression that during lockdown he’s been cracking right on in the studio
Doesn’t seem to be on Spotify for me...Wares - "Survival" album from April. Disclaimer - Search function says it's not been brought up. Just listened to it a couple of times and I think it's got some very decent bits, if a little patchy at times. Canadian indie - they cite Sonic Youth, New Pornographers, Neko Case, and the album has supposedly been likened to early Titus A / Daydream Nation era Sonic Youth...it bounces around quite nicely from laid-back lo-fi/shoegazey, to loud guitar fuzzy stuff, to catchy synthy-driven guitar pop. There's a couple of slower mellow bits as well. Not bad at all imho.
Seems to be on Bandcamp but not Apple Music eitherDoesn’t seem to be on Spotify for me...
Weird, I'm listening to it on Spotify right now, unless it's a US vs UK Spotify - is there a difference due to licencing, release dates, etc?Doesn’t seem to be on Spotify for me...
