New Music Releases Thread

Mentioned Worriers above when talking about Ratboys. Decided to see what they were up to and notice that they also had a new album, You or Someone You Know, out in March - just started it, so I can't report (1.5 tracks in and it's probably my bag). I posted about them a couple of times on here in 2017 for their previous album, Survival Pop, which I really liked (it was kind of punky early Bangles).

Still thinking about my favourites of the year so far. In the mean time, there are new releases this week from Boris, Willie Nelson, Paul Weller, Dream Wife, Hedvig Mollestad (solo), Keleketla!, Mulatu Astatke & Black Jesus Experience, A.A. Williams and Bdrmm.

A pretty quiet week, all in all.

Everyone’s favourite fake-Scottish Canadian punks the Real McKenzies have their new album out tomorrow. That and Willie Nelson for me, I’m also still catching up from a fortnight ago.

As with the ones I usually plug on here they are on Fat Wreck Chords whose releases stopped being on Metacritic a year or so ago.

No wonder we’ve barely seen him in public, he’s been working on his album ;)
