Not the same thing but go and see Brit Flloyd if you get the chance. Best covers band I have ever seen, very professional and the music is identical in every way. £40 a go mind so not cheapPink Floyd, would have loved to have seen their Wall tour. Could have had tickets for Live 8 anarl but didn't bother. Seen Gilmour and Wright so that'll have to do!
The Newcastle gig didn't go ahead, but it must have been around that year.was that around 80/81??
I was there for that one and to this day it’s the best sound I’ve ever experienced live.
I pretty much saw all of my heroes back in the day but have never seen Wilko Johnson live even though I’ve seen Dr Feelgood in numerous incarnations.
Biggest regret with hindsight is that I never saw Bob Marley.
Me mam said the day after 'oh I got offered two free tickets but didn't think you'd want them'i was there & saw fuck all...
Seen Aussie Pink Floyd a couple of times, I'll look up Brit Floyd. Not the same thing but go and see Brit Flloyd if you get the chance. Best covers band I have ever seen, very professional and the music is identical in every way. £40 a go mind so not cheap

Taking my niece to see Manic Street Preachers, going with a lass to see Paul Young and Wham at Whitley Bay Ice Rink
I went to that gig at the Boro.
It was ok. Got to admit at the time, whilst I liked the band and thought they were good, I couldn't understand why people went so mad for a group with such a dull stage presence! Carried on feeling that way tbh.Any good? Do you reckon the band'll do anything?
The Stones at The shit tip 1981.
82 then clivver kernt. You should have tried again the following year.

I was encamped in The Five Bridges Hotel in Gateshead. Window wide open listening to the show.I was a couple of days short of my 18th when I saw them and it was a great concert but I remember thinking Jagger's getting on a bit now as he's nearly 39 he should think about calling it a day.
Not fancy a trip to Stanhope?was that around 80/81??
