turned down tickets for the original gigs of the The Wall as I was disappointed with the album initially and didnt think it was worth traipsing down to London for

Wish Id made the effort to see Prince a few times

had a ticket to see Queen (in Dortmund) didn't bother going
chose not to go to see joe strummer and the mescaleros even though there were playing just down the road - played loads of Clash songs apparently.

f***ing did like. Its cos you thought you'd get kicked in for looking like damon albarn.

do you mean Boro arena ? They played there pre DM.
The Boro town hall gig was after album released. I remember it being postponed to the day before NYE. My favourite time seeing them.

Don't get bladdered at gigs, never saw the point, auld fart now but even as a young un seeing Family, T Rex, Billy Joel etc why pay good money not to remember anything?
Excitmey usually on my part. Hoy a few back & tip that bit too far over the edge. Problem being I’ve got a shite memory when I drink.

3-4 before, 2-3 during is about the right measure for me if I want to have clear recollection of the encore. Can gan daft after.

I’ve had gigs where I remember nowt, some where it’s hazy & I only remember little bits. Always guttering waking up the next day & realising you’ve fucked up.

Could have went to see Oasis at the Wedgwood Rooms in Southsea in early 1994 just before they hit the big time.

Sacked it off and went to work doing overtime instead. About a month later they were in the charts and never looked back. Never really been a big fan but would have been nice to say "I was there".

Sex Pistols first incarnation. With either Matlock or Vicious.

The number of people I've spoken to who reckon they saw them at Middlesbrough Rock Garden is astounding like..it's like the Free Trade Hall gig all over again..i worked out that one lad who reckoned he was there would have been 12 at the time.

The Stray Cats. Mates got tickets to go, instead I went to some bland heavy metal shite at Manchester Free Trades Hall with a bird I fancied.

She was a pain in the backside and my mates had a great time

Like I said mate, it didn’t happen! He’s heeds in the clouds! If you ever tried to hold a conversation with him you would know what I mean!

Strange individual! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Was supposed to support Extreme at Riverside in 1990 or 91 then they broke massive and switched to City Hall and we lost the gig then about 18 months later same happened with Rage Against The Machine when Killing In The Name broke.

Gutted both times.

Could have had tickets for Live 8 anarl but didn't bother. Seen Gilmour and Wright so that'll have to do!
i was there & saw fuck all...

Pink Floyd, would have loved to have seen their Wall tour.

roger waters tour of it a year or two ago was meant to be pretty decent, more so that they can use modern pyrotechnics (the night gilmour appeared would have been special)

edit: f***ing hell it was nine years ago, just searched it up...:oops::-O
