Someone got it spot on earlier in the thread. £350m for them £40m for us. Both buy you a club with a lot of passionate support and big stadium that will be full of noisy fans if there is a whiff of success, both take masses on the road. In their favour, they are a Premier League club, but one who could be facing a relegation battle. In our favour, we own the ground, land academy so are potentially a better long term prospect. The trick is getting us back in the Premier League, which is not a certainty. But if you have £310m spending money from what you would have spent on the mags and no long expensive contracts to clear when we get there, that £310m goes a long way.
Given our size but our low value based on our troubles, I think we are an excellent investment prospect and I’m surprised someone has not been in for us before now.
Would be great, but it's unlikely. That's not really my point though. My point is why do they always have to obsess over what we are up to and how we are doing? Even when in league one they have us on the brain.
Twice you have said that today, that’s the league cup yes, the same cup you couldn’t sell out in a semi final at home yes?
Nowt wrong with Kenton mind. And Kenton, Blakelaw, Cowgate, Arthur's Hill, Newburn, Walker, etc
they detest us as much we do them...Even this early they look a shoe in for the drop imo. If we go up (it's likely) and with our potential investment by 4 multi billionaires they should be very worried. I know if the boot was on the other foot I'd be f***ing dreading the next few seasonsWould be great, but it's unlikely. That's not really my point though. They're expecting a crowd of under 20, 000 next week v Leicester that's so rubbishy
Eeeee whey ger em telt Fred larEeeeee well fuck the jealous Mags
There's way more than 4 melts on this board. And you're all in the sad as ferk category for all we care, posting regularly on this site.It isn't like.
On the main topic you have to bear in mind the intellect, or lack, of the individuals in question. There are 4 NUFC fans here on site. Only one is in the 'can't believe it / hope it falls through / why not buy NUFC camp.
The rest of us are in the camp of the Derby will be back soon which is great and hopefully they are going to follow the stability model and not the City model.
Quality journalism. They couldn't even get the date right of their 74 cup final.Oh yes they did! I'll try to find the link, it was jawdropping.

"Newcastle United are back at Wembley.
They take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Wednesday.
United’s record at the national stadium is as black and white as the strips they wear.
The Magpies at one time were, technically speaking, unbeaten at Wembley for 50 years.
On the other hand, they haven’t won a major fixture there for 63 years - and counting.
As they prepare to step out at the new, redeveloped Wembley Stadium for the first time, we recall Newcastle United’s visits to the world-famous football venue."
Sounds like he's a fan of Chi Onwurah. You get the MP you deserve a lot of the time...One of gravy monsters told me he wouldn't want Dell at NUFC because he donates money to The Friends of the Israeli Defence Forces and is a member of the powerful Jewish lobby that runs America![]()
I wish I could like this more than once![]()
Fuck off, dullard. No one gives a solitary shiny shite about your fictional anecdotes. It isn't like.

The main issue for me would be paying £350m for a team managed by Steve BruceTo be fair I think they are buyable, they've got a good, loyal support, no point denying it. What fucks them is that a) they're £350m (we're £40m, if you spent the extra £310m on the team I'm sure we'd be comfortably better than them) and b) I always think land is an issue. What do they actually own? They lease the ground don't they? And the land around it is council owned. We've got a lot of potential there that they simply don't have (unless I'm wrong)

Not really. I give a fuck about reading opinions from Sunderland fans, what with being on a Sunderland messageboard and all. Your interminable, obsessed, tedious shite clogging the discussion up is just a bit sad.
No one gives a fuck about you. Stop seeking attention by trolling on your rival's board. I'd be disappointed if my eight year old was showing that behaviour.
They are correct when they say they are unique tbf....They’re absolute freaks the mags like.
Genuinely never known a set of fans like them.
Well you obviously do!
