Following the formal notification, if the Concussed Player’s Team wishes to activate the Concussion Replacement, it must have its captain (or coach where the captain cannot reasonably practicably do so) formally nominate a player to the Cricket Liaison Officer and/or umpire(s) for approval (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld) as the Concussion Replacement for that Concussed Player for the remainder of the Match concerned. Save in exceptional circumstances only a ‘like for like’ player (or close as possible) shall be permitted as a Concussion Replacement, though in circumstances where a Concussion Replacement is required for an all-rounder the Cricket Liaison Officer and/or umpires(s) may take into account the role that the Concussed Player would have been likely to play in the remainder of the Match

98-8. yet another pathetic capitulation, heading for defeat from a near 200 first innings lead. This sadly sums up a very poor County Championship season.

Thanks to Colly for the memories and congrats on a fantastic career.

An appropriate ending to a miserable red ball season.

Sad for Collingwood to bow out this way, honestly thought it was ‘written’ for him to score the winning runs

Pitiful finish. Contrast with Leicestershire’s 9, 10, 11 who put on 160+ for last two wickets, despite still needing another 130+ to win a meaningless game.

Colly cleaned bowled by a Grubba. Hey life has never changed in 22 years at the Riverside. I could not think of a more ironic ending, the uneven bounce has the last laugh at the Riverside.

He keeps picking them. He's the one who coaches them.

He’ll never be able to win with you. You wanted Davies in, he failed. You love Richardson - he’s shite.

Basically. If he doesn’t drop players it’s his fault and when he gives lads a chance who you want in the side - but they fail, it’s also his fault.

We get it, you’re not keen, but this dull as fuck charade is worse than what chops used to be berated for regarding Pringle.

A microcosm of the whole season...glorious weather and feeble batting from Durham who appeared to have no plan whatsoever in chasing down the 167 other than Steel blocking at one end.
Once Lees went then that was it basically.

We've just been treading water in the Championship this season.

It was totally predictable in reverse in that we usually score less than 100 first innings
Not one batsman can hold his head high in the championship this year
Embarrassing in reality and depressing being a supporter
