Nothing I'd be willing to put in an open forum, but yeah. I know people in the youth team who said how much of a twat he was.

On the flip side, the very same people now say he's been great around the place, so maybe he was just being managed badly and was kicking out.

Either way, what's gone is gone. Right now he's doing the business and its fantastic for us. The biggest thing for me is the graft he's putting in. The daft tackle he made thst resulted in a yellow card was the perfect example of that...poorly executed, but he was busting a gut to get there.

I was one of them that thought he looked finished early last season, and he got dropped and we improved, then he went to Charlton and apparently did nowt. But this past few months is the best we've seen him since signing, I'm now going the other way thinking he has multiple years in him, he looks faster if anything.

Perhaps he was mismanaged, or still not recovered from the broken foot, or maybe he just now has extra motivation to prove people wrong? Whatever it is, it's f***ing fantastic to see.

Apparently we can leave players out of the squad and they won't count towards the salary cap.

Why would we do that though when we can count them as being on the average salary? Wasn’t that the reason for rushing through the Wright deal? As an aside though; being allowed to have an expensive player sit there and take his wages but not but not play for you, surely is the pinnacle of...
