Age catches upon you quickly - hes someone who hasn't had an effective game of football for over a year and at 35 we need to forget about him before you even talk about whether he is or isn't a negative influence on others.

Not against McGeady, but It's not about individuals, it's about a system that's not just fit for the players we have, but fit for this God-awful League we're in. League 1 teams will drop deep. They will disrupt. They will slather on thick layers of shit-housery. Yet we seem surprised by / not expecting / have absolutely no plan to counter this. Every single game. No one player can fix that, and certainly not McGeady. Cutting in with the occasional goal from nothing - while very welcome - papers over the lack of progress in the required team approach. Yet this doesn't seem to be seen by anyone at the club.
