Selfish Twats. Selfish Twats EVERYWHERE

Really missing the point IMO, outdoor mixing in the fashion described is minimal risk...if you could see some of the "essential" businesses with office staff turning in then you would be right to be angry (At the government for allowing it).

We can't say the sea front is a problem and at the same time accept the benign series of mass gatherings in the summer. Bournemouth beach as a principal example.

Myself and the missus walk with another couple socially distanced

She walks with his wife about 10 -20 metres behind us and I tend to walk alongside him.

At no point are we closer than a couple metres .

Be lots of people like this...

There are piss takers but vast majority are being cautious
Just to add the worst culprits I see are all those congregating and having catchups outside coffee shops..
Stop at home
You are guilty and know it

So you seem not to be bothered about people not social distancing etc?

Are you a f***ing idiot? Theres thousands of people dying due to people not following guidelines on how to stop the spread of this virus. I'm doing all I can to avoid getting this virus so i dont pass it on to my elderly parents but i'm in the wrong for getting pissed off at people not following advice? My kids have barely seen their grandparents in nearly a f***ing year. i think people can follow some simple guidelines but no the ignorant ***** like you are extending this thing further and further.
I think he’s fishing for bites tbh

It's really tough. Could you do a midweek walk with the bairn? We go out for a walk on my daughters dinner break to give her time away from her screen and schoolwork.

Look after yourself marra 😘

She's in nursery! Thankfully it's back open again.
That was a bit of family time apparently shared by everyone else's family within an unspecified radius!
Don’t see the point ranting about others when you aren’t following government advice yourself tbh

Except I am following the advice.
Hence my rant.
You can buy the sunflower lanyards and radar keys for accessible toilets online too. It's easy for them to fall into the hands of people who don't need to use them, which spoils it for the people who genuinely need them.

It’s a bit like those who GENUINELY stick to the stay at home message for CEVs and then you have the selfish ones who put wealth before health and stick two fingers up to the NHS....

Thought you could meet one other person from another household provided it was outside and distanced etc? Appreciate that loads just don’t bother distancing.

Yes you can.

Eg: I could meet my friend and go for a walk, but I couldn't meet my friend, her husband and their bairns and go for a walk.

Aye, agreed there. I hate when full families get in my way when I go shopping. Can one parent not stay at home with the bairns like? Usually scratters, mind.
The stores need to stop it then. Every store has a security guard at the door.

Just like the guy who has gone out after being told to shield has decided it is a risk worth taking. Both families know the risks and have made the decision to still meet up.

There is no difference, both are ignoring the rules and creating a risk.
Shielding doesn't mean don't leave the house at all - you're 'allowed' to go outdoors for exercise whilst shielding. The recommendation is to avoid shops, meeting others, etc

But you could if you were single and formed a support bubble with that household, right?
