Missus was telling me she was at a cash point today and two young lasses came up close behind her standing close talking to each other. Neither was wearing a mask. Both of them had exemption badges on. Neither looked like they needed one.
Ye can buy in home bargains packs of 6 “IM EXPEMPT FROM FACEMASK” badges for £1.00

Me, Mrs K and Mini-K went for a walk around Pennington Flash yesterday morning. It's a decent walk around with nature hides and a massive lake etc.
I'm CEV and really speaking should stay at home, however, if I did that (again) not only would my mental health be utterly shot to shit, my immune system which is already compromised, would be utterly fucked if I don't give it chance to actually develop immunity to things.
I stay out of people's way, wash hands, don't touch owt etc...
Getting some fresh and and a change of scenery is what you need to try and feel a bit better. Doing that bit of exercise to stop the ever increasing timber.

Like I say we went for a walk there, as a family group, in our own little bubble. Not with anyone else.
Seem sensible? Doing the right thing etc?

So why is it that every set of pricks we went past were clearly from multiple households? Packs of people out for a run together. f***ing "Ladies What Lunch" with their Costas.
If the Covid Coppers had set up shop on one of the paths they'd have made a mint by about 1pm.

Hello ladies, are you in the same household?
Yes?
Can you prove that?
No.
£200 and off you fuck flower.

Hello folks.
Do you all live together?
Erm...

Exactly. Fuck off home and take this fine with you.

I haven't seen some my family in over a year. I haven't seen friends in months.
Stop being such selfish twats and we might all get to do this a bit sooner.

I appreciate it's unlikely they'll read this, but fuck me I needed a rant about it.
Going for a walk was meant to make me feel better. By the time we got back to the car, I was practically spitting acid.

I drive a bus in that Newcastle. The Quayside is ram packed everyday. Yesterday there was coppers sitting watching everybody wandering aimlessly, queuing for overpriced coffee from Starbucks and Greggs.

People are taking the bus from the Quayside up to the centre of Newcastle. Hardly essential travel, just lazy.

The pair of utter bastards them

I’ve noticed they often come in pairs like. Oh you just BOTH happen to be exempt, and you’re BOTH out shopping together. What a coincidence.

Pst... @haway
You might want to read the above.

I fully appreciate my own position, but it turns out I WAS RIGHT.

I needed the rant, I also needed to be told "chill mate" in an understanding manner, rather than "Whee's this bitching bellend?"

It's really tough. Could you do a midweek walk with the bairn? We go out for a walk on my daughters dinner break to give her time away from her screen and schoolwork.

Look after yourself marra 😘

You can buy the off amazon I think

Don’t see the point ranting about others when you aren’t following government advice yourself tbh

I bumped into a mate yesterday when had the bairns out at the park. Technically speaking I wasn’t exercising, well until the toddler wants me to climb up and get her from the top of the slide, but I don’t see the harm in being outside socially distancing.

I went for a run Saturday and jesmomd dene was like a summer music festival. It was rammed with people out and about.

It's really unhealthy, imo that citizens are getting seriously pissed off with eachother over innocuous things like going for a walk with a mate or two, and the bairns. Or people not shopping alone. Or queuing for fish and chips. Or shaking hands.
It's quite worrying actually and I'm starting to wonder if it's a Stockholm syndrome type situation, some people might really struggle to get back to a normal, pre march 2020 lifestyle.

That isn't aimed solely at the OP mind, it's just a general trend I've noticed a lot lately

So you seem not to be bothered about people not social distancing etc?

Are you a f***ing idiot? Theres thousands of people dying due to people not following guidelines on how to stop the spread of this virus. I'm doing all I can to avoid getting this virus so i dont pass it on to my elderly parents but i'm in the wrong for getting pissed off at people not following advice? My kids have barely seen their grandparents in nearly a f***ing year. i think people can follow some simple guidelines but no the ignorant ***** like you are extending this thing further and further.

Seen that. Madness. Why arent the government stopping it.

You can buy the sunflower lanyards and radar keys for accessible toilets online too. It's easy for them to fall into the hands of people who don't need to use them, which spoils it for the people who genuinely need them.

I understand how front line nurses must think. I know a young nurse in the Coventry Hospital covid ward and when they see someone dying of covid, gasping for breath and the fear in their eyes it is heart breaking even for those experienced in dealing with death. No wonder so many of them are at breaking point and then we hear almost nonchalant acceptance by so many people.

You're doing the right thing for you mate, you're protecting yourself, and also your parents.
Other people may not feel doing the things I've mentioned are a big risk, therefore they're doing that.
You're making your choice, they're making theirs. I agree some people are taking the piss, the 400 wedding guests, the raves, even the big house parties. But going for a walk with a mate? Buying a fish lot? Fuck me man people are human and can't be expected to live like robots imo.

Yeah you can also buy car stickers...KEY WORKER ABOARD...makes some folk feel important..because they arnt really Key Workers ...They are making mugs of REAL key workers...Just like the lady who passed away from Sainsbury’s recently...She lived on her own used to walk to work and going to work was the only time she went out...yet you hear of SELFISH idiots who ignore the CEV stay at home message to go to work doing a job that has has no value to people or the economy...They are the SELFISH Twats

Isn’t it marvellous that that Harry , Wills , Meghan and Kate have finally reconciled their differences ?
