Not a single one of them is homeless. I know this as a fact.

No one's saying the problem would go away entirely. However having a left leaning majority in the HoC might get a few policies passed which helps alleviate the problem which is currently growing exponentially.
By your logic if the problem can't be solved completely then why bother trying in the first place. That's like saying if we can't sign Van Dijk let's just stick with these two idiots are centre half for good
Quite a remarkable thing to know a fact aboutNot a single one of them is homeless. I know this as a fact.

How can you not see that capitalism is the cause of the homeless crisis? Marx critiqued it perfectly and with today's hindsight we can see he was right. I'll give you the people who tried socialism fucked up it if youyguve me ou capit has failed and caused immeasurable suffering more times than socialism.I think if you lived a healthy life and looked after yourself, you would be less likely to be in hospitals so much. Also if you did well in school, were hardworking, ambitious and independent, you would probably be less dependent on government services. I find it ironic that people want so much government in their life, where they limit their freedom of choice then complain that same government are screwing them over. I mean someone actually posted about Karl Marx..wtf.
I'll take capitalism over any other system in the world.
This is the SMB man, you’d be amazed at what people know as absolute facts rather than opinions.Quite a remarkable thing to know a fact about
Some may well not be, but you can’t possibly know all

Theyre always there just before match & just after. One match I was running 20 mins late, so was coming over bridge about 15 mins after kick off. Not one begger to be seen. Then after the match, they were all there again.
Sunderland has no homeless? Wow, there should be studies done into that as it must be the only large place in the UK, I wonder how it manages that. Not a single one of them is homeless. I know this as a fact.

Five miles? Should walk the lazy sod.Was walking in town and a woman stopped me to say she was homeless and needed money to get to somewhere that was about five miles away.
Not only did she have to be homeless in a very specific place, she didn't want to risk jumping a train and the fine being sent to ... ..erm, where exactly?
Last time I checked there were two, and they were intentionally homeless having refused accomodation.Sunderland has no homeless? Wow, there should be studies done into that as it must be the only large place in the UK, I wonder how it manages that.
Centrepoint say they support 200 homeless people in Sunderland every dayLast time I checked there were two, and they were intentionally homeless having refused accomodation.
The beggars at the match are not homeless.
People complain about it but the only thing that will stop it is if people refuse to give them anything. But people are nice. People want to help others. There is no sign of this changing despite the awareness campaigns that have been done.
When it's freezing cold, with snow, hail or sleet lashing against the windows, I know that, like many of us, I thank my lucky stars I'm not living on the streets. It's there but for the grace of God. If you think otherwise, that's your prerogative, but I'd urge you to think again....
Agree. Except begging is illegal regardless of being homeless. One solution would be to make sure the homeless were registered at a local level, provided with 3 meals a day and a safe bed for the night by law. Beggars could be arrested if they're not registered as homeless.
People should stop giving money to these beggars and give to a homeless charity instead. Even if they are homeless why should someone that's better at begging 'earn' more than those that are not by getting the good patches etc.
Depends on your definition I guess. There are people that have somewhere to sleep but is not their home, such as a hostel.Centrepoint say they support 200 homeless people in Sunderland every day
I watched this video a few years ago and it really moved me. If only more people would listen to the voice of homeless people.
