Things that irritate you more than they should

Not sure if I’ve already posted this;

Waiting in a queue and there’s only one person serving at the till. Sod’s law, as soon as it’s your turn to be served, they ring the bell for a second assistant to come and serve. Why the fuck did you not ring five minutes ago when the queue was still massive?
Tesco at the Board Inn, every time.

I was shocked the other day when I used all the automation for a credit card company and got everything done without speaking to a human.
I ended up speaking to a human because the automated service couldn't understand my accent!

People who get common sayings wrong my mate's recent ones have included Play it by here, Barking up the wrong street, to the hills (instead of hilt).
My deceased mate used to say "draw a line under the sand", wish I could hear him say it again.

When watching a series at the end of each episode they show what's on the next episode, cue me diving for the remote.

The way the Americans say “and”. Almost high pitched scouse - like Stevie Gerrard.

Errrrrnd

Was siting next to an American woman today and she started every sentence with it.

Really petty one. When people working in massive chain shops when you ask for a product they say "I've not got any in at the moment" as if they own the shop.

Shoot me down if people are trained to say that!

On The Chase quiz show when they reveal the correct answer before they show the chasers answer, i don’t understand it surely the correct answer should be the last one revealed, unless im missing something

People who spend hours fannying on in the card aisle, opening them up, studying fuck out of them, reading every last verse. Just pick one up and fuck off you absolute tart

Shopping in general.

People who have full blown conversations in supermarkets, blocking the aisles, f***ing shift

Old people who block the aisles

Unexpected item in bagging area

Long queues

People who wait in queues for 10 minutes and when they get to the front they fumble around for 10 minutes getting their money or card out.

This 10000%

Same goes for when it’s chocka in the Tesco beside my work at lunchtimes and they have only half of the self service machines switched on, the other half not broken, just locked from use. Bizarre - you’ll go back later that day and all of them are on !

People starting a sentence with "So".

People in shops saying "Can I get....."

I'm turning into a grammar Nazi.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being annoyed by "Can I get".
No you can't. You may have, but someone in a service capacity will have to get it for you. You can't help yourself.

Americans always "fixing" things, "Hi honey i'm just fixing us some lunch", why have you ballsed it up again?
