Yep cattle to feed and bed. Calves to feed That takes a bit of time. Not too bad tho. 3 hours on a morning if everthing goes ok (no frozen pipes , broken troughs etc.) and half hour check around on the evening.
Can be but can be canny at times. Usally my young lad comes with me. I actually like the feeding on xmas morning.I always fancied a job like that, I realise how hard it must be

I'm dreading thé next 2 weeks. I'm in the food hall at M&S and I haven't got over last Xmas yet.

Absolutely dead against working Christmas Day. I’m not religious, just think people should have a day off from serving the public for one day a year to spend with their families. Saying that though, we’ve got 300 booked in so I’ll be working all day. Ugh.same here...work in hospitalty and did the main day for about 20 year....not any more tho
