£2.30 a pint in Joseph's and if you get there early enough, you can get your Christmas shopping at half price.

Its owned by Lime, co, who have Derwent Mannor. Its closed for a refurb and rename. Cooper Rose is a Wetherspoon, cheap as the cheap chips they sell!I don't think the worm is a wetherspoons anymore, but I could be wrong.
hello Fella’s.
I’ll be coming up next weekend for the match just wondering where’s a decent place for a few drinks before and after. Must admit this was the first fixture I looked for when the fixtures came out with you being the biggest side with the biggest stadium. Shame it’s 10 days before Christmas. Are away fans still housed right up the top because I read something that you was closing the top tier but not sure.
We’ve sold over 1,000 tickets already and should be knocking on 2,000 come next Saturday which isn’t a bad following with us being bottom 4. I predict a 3-1 wins for you guys
All the best
Do you remember Bruce Bannister and Alan Worboys??FELLAS

Do you remember Gary Penrice?
Walk into the city centre get directions to the Empire plenty of pubs round there wouldn't recommend the pubs near the ground - you won't have any bother but they get rammed.

Got and got in my soccer stars book from approx 1975Do you remember Bruce Bannister and Alan Worboys??
All are fine but avoid the slaughtered lamb, the docker’s fist and the Fawcett Inn (unless you enjoy a good seeing to).![]()
Groups of away fans have been going in the Fire Station all season. Good choice of beers (though pricier than the average for Sunderland), and decent food.
Thought so,3rd division season if I remember correctly, sure we were top of the league as well!Midweek and hell on after the game. Not from the fans but over Gordon Armstrongs leg breaker on Kenny Hibbitt which forced him to retire. He was on about suing him and all sorts IMSC.

Problem is everyone is heading in the wrong direction in those pictures. Do you not think someone should tell them?Drink in the city centre and head across the bridge to the stadium around 2.30. The walk across the bridge to the stadium is one of the highlights of the match day "experience" for visiting fans. There are not many grounds in England where all fans can walk to the ground and the atmosphere builds like that any more.

Depends which of the mystery shoppers haven't been lifted.Ask for tony?
And supporters bar named after a Sunderland player: Charlie ‘Cannoball’ Fleming - their greatest player who they signed from us late 50s ( I live very near Bath and go and watch them a fair bit - lovely friendly club and great old fashioned ground).Bath City FC, they hold the record for most clean sheets IIRC.
