Anyone read this yesterday? What a depressing story. The lad who did it must be like a powder keg. He was alone to so not doing it to show off or act hard.

TBF that sentence is probably a lot harsher than what an average Joe would get.
We don't jail people if we can help it as it costs too much.

Eh that isn't comparable what so ever, people are only killed in war as a last resort. Think most people agree killing other people isn't acceptable. Animals are victims and have committed no crime what so ever. So no its your analogy which is pathetic.

Bit of a difference abusing an animal for fun compared to preparing an animal for consumption. I’m all for eating as little meat as possible and turning to a more veg based diet but flesh is needed for the survival of the human race. We have evolved as carnivores and we wouldn’t exist if we weren’t. We can’t help being top of the food chain.

The motivate matters little to the victim, factory farming is an absolute disgrace and if people could see the conditions the animals are kept in and put through they would be up in arms. Flesh is not needed for the survival of the human race that is a complete utter nonsense statement it is more than possible to live a healthy balanced vegan diet, we now even have vegan strongmen, bodybuilders and athletes thriving on a vegan diet. Yes we wouldn't exist with out it through out our history it was necessary for survival, now it isn't. Don't think the food chain really comes into it when the animals are just being born and killed in captivity.

Do you honestly think a handful of dopey hippies like yourself have a better understanding of the human body than over 300 Thousand years of human existence? This vegan stuff has just became fashionable and will die out just like loads of other ridiculous food fads like green and red diets blah blah blah. Processed food is mainly shite which most vegans eat. Most of the shit you see on vegan shelves is packed with loads of crap and the amount of vegans that are fatties is hilarious. Those meat substitutes are some of the worst products I’ve seen. Up there with turkey twizzlers.

Not only that but how much of a terrible effect on the climate would mass farming have. Soil is getting worse and worse, cutting down loads of rainforest to grow soy etc.

Have a look at ‘natureismetal’ on reddit or Instagram. You’re part of that nature. quite shocking but you’re no different to that. We’re all happy to eat one another on this planet. If those animals you’re on about were free they’d be eating as much as they can that walked.

You are ranting on like a daft owld buffoon man 😂. I know lots of vegans none are fat and wouldn't class any as hippies. Mainly just young people who have been informed or took in upon themselves to learn about factory farming and realised how horrendous it is. Why is not liking animal cruelty a bad thing, i find that absolutely bizzare. No one is pretending processed vegan junk food is healthy 🤦 its what it says it is junk food. Every doctor in the world knows fruits and vegetables are good for health thats whats being suggested people plan their diets around...information weve been told since we were toddlers.
We wouldn't need to farm any more than we do now as the amount of crops we grow to feed cattle is far more than we would need to feed the population, we would just need to change the type of crops we grow.
