I’ve started Christmas dinner preparations

I made the Christmas puddings a few months ago, the stuffing about 5 weeks ago and have been out today harvesting my late planting taties. Once they have dried out a bit, I’ll sort out the ones I want for Christmas dinner then they are ready of a light boil then roasting.

Need geese this year to render your own fat for them spuds?

I'm just in from work so going to turn my pork belly for the first time.

Can't wait

We have vegetarians in the family so the taties just have to be brushed with olive oil. Shame really.

I just give "Meals on Wheels" a bit of a sob story each year and have the whole thing delivered. I keep the Fortnum and Masons Christmas Hamper for Boxing Day.

What an amazing success
It’s not going to win any presentation awards and we have more bacon for breakfast than we have to wrap sausages in but it tastes tremendous
Salty with a sweet aftertaste.
Presentation 4/10
Taste 8.7/10

Likely to do again 10/10
