Mmmm yeah. No shame this country.More licence payers in the NE have no interest in football so perhaps there interests supersede yours.
KLD = ?
Saudi = controversy.
No surprise one was of more interest than the other.

Of course it is. They went out their way to treat the clubs the same whatever divsion they were in.The boot was never on the other foot. Newcastle spent 1 season sat top of the championship. That is nothing like our situation, where we've spent the last 76 seasons piddling around in the 3rd division playoffs.
Do Hartlepool get equal treatment to Sunderland?Of course it is. They went out their way to treat the clubs the same whatever divsion they were in.
Just accept being treated like shite then?
Do Hartlepool get equal treatment to Sunderland?
It’s nothing to do with where teams are in the leagues. Hartlepool get equal treatment to Middlesbrough on BBC Tees we should get the same with Mags on BBC Newcastle.And Hartlepool are nearer to us in the league ladder than we are to the Mags. Until we get our own house in order this is how it's going to be.

BBC Tees broadcast every Hartlepool game live. I listen to them.I'd be very suprised if that's the case. Same as I'd be very surprised if the likes of Bolton and Wigan get the same coverage as Man Utd and Man City on their local stations. It's just a symptom of our current standing unfortunately.

Irrelevent.Do Hartlepool get equal treatment to Sunderland?
Well it isn't irrelevant, it's the reason ffs. We're in League 1, and have been for years. Newcastle have spent 2 seasons out of the top flight since 1993. They've never been in this position in order to make any rational comparison.Irrelevent.
No wonder we are where we are when supposed supporters like you accept shite.
There are two big clubs in the NE and for years, in theory, have been treated equally whatever division they are in. Im not even sure Hartlepool are covered by Radio Newcastle.Well it isn't irrelevant, it's the reason ffs. We're in League 1, and have been for years. 'Accept shite'. I'm stating a reason that I believe to be factual, for (alleged) unequal coverage.
While I agree with the basic truth in your comments this should not allow local media to be anything other than impartial in its coverage of the area and its sport. Sunderland is the 2nd most populated city in the area and contains the oldest of the big footballing clubs in the area which still draws a substantial support no matter how far it has fallen. This should demand respect not ridicule but of course in a world where working people think "as long as my pile of shit is bigger than your pile shit then I'm better than you" then our area will continue to suffer. Add to this the black hole for investment Blair created in the 80's/90's and you can see why Sunderlands development has fallen so far behind. I used to despise Sunderland City Council for its lack fore thought, cheapness and ability to let any architect dump whatever piece of shit they could think of on us. However I now realise that it's being the lack of investment as well as poor management that has brought our city to where it is today. Personally always hope for a better day in all aspects of my life so with new development on the up in the city centre let's hope its the start of the long over due revamping of our city which will breath new life and investment into the old gal. HTL FTM.

At no point in any post did I say I was happy/unhappy, or thought it should be equal/unequal.There are two big clubs in the NE and for years, in theory, have been treated equally whatever division they are in. Im not even sure Hartlepool are covered by Radio Newcastle.
Accepting any shite has become common place. If you dont agree with people trying to get a level playing field for Sunderland fair enough but dont take the piss out of those trying to fight the club and communities corner.
Fair enough. Jus pleased I have never been in a war with you. Just lie down and accept then. No wonder we are in the shite we are in,At no point in any post did I say I was happy/unhappy, or thought it should be equal/unequal.
I simply stated the the fact we've been piddling around the League 1 top 8 since the Upper Paleolithic, may well have some significance as to why we (allegedly) don't share equal footing - on whatever medium it is you're twisting about - with a mega-rich, established PL club, 1.5 divisions above us.![]()

Hartlepool probably inferior to boro
Ours is on par with Newcastle so should be treated the same
