One minute she’s picking clams off the beach the next thing she’s the face of some big cosmetics company in florida.
He’s a canny angler, mind if ya can’t catch fish down there you never will.
 
Started watching The Fal Anglers on youtube group of young anglers based out of Falmouth who fish the marks round Cornwall . There's a good ep from a few months ago where there lure fishing a real deep water rock mark for pollock and wrasse when a big school of garfish come in close and there being chased by a school of bluefin tuna. One of the lads hooks a pollock as he's reeling it in a tuna decides to help itself to his catch. Some excellent footage well worth a look.

Aye, they're still together by the looks of it. He's comes across as a decent bloke
 
Spent the morning prepping a load of bait, mackerel, Bluey, squid, cart the lot.

My lass going mad coz the place stinks, defrosted a bag of frozen mussel which leaked all over the bench so she has gone to the gym full of hell!

My mates just rung and cancelled tonight’s fishing. So I’ve bunged it all back in the freezer and I think I best take her out tonight.

“what’s that smell,” is a well used phrase in our house.🤣🤣

If it’s not defrosting mackerel or sardines during winter it’s making paste with base mix, eggs and stinky flavouring and boiling for a minute.
I have a bait fridge in the garage but use a bottom shelf of the freezer for bait.

Love it mate 🤣🤣

Me and the boy on shields long beach.
Il never forget this night.
He was about 14, playing on computers 24/7, we had a good relationship typical father/son, he just wanted to be with his mates or in his room.
Our first night fishing together, for codling mid November, him all wrapped up and we made a little fire and cooked the fresh razor clam I bought as bait. Ended up full of sand and inedible like.

Not been apart since.

That is just wonderful Mate.
Just done my bailiff round on the reservoir. Waves big enough to surf on.
Lass with her two young boys were walking to set up. Just said to them have this one on me, the anglers of tomorrow.
Hope they catch.
 
Had a cracking bit of sport today on a small mill pond that is attached to the River Cherwell.
Started off dead baiting with sardines and no luck.
Put on a Plug and caught 4 Pike, nothing big, largest around 5lb.
Lost a bigger one when I put on a sardine late afternoon and had a decent one following the plug in and followed it virtually to me feet.
