Bellingham started the season very well. He looked excellent. The problem is we’ve played him for far too many minutes.

If we played him for 37 matches I’m sure we’d see a drop off in standards.

Whatever isn’t & isn’t written into his contract, our management of Bellingham has been naive at best & probably more incompetent than anything else.

Oh give over, where players come from has nothing to do with it - ive seen local lads get undeserved shit plenty of times over the last 30 years, bollocks to say they're more favoured.

Dan Neil always looked a classy footballer and had an obvious style.

At times despite having the physique Jobe lacks with so many aspects like taking the ball on the half turn or getting it under control. He's played over half a season as an attacking midfielder and isn't capable of playing the role, with his best form beig up front or a couple of games recently further back. Whilst he gets in good positions in and around the box, has scored a few goals his general play simply hasn't been good enough over the course of the season to warrant so many games.

He's being over exposed and that's the reason for the criticism, not where he comes from.

Of course where a player comes from matters

Just look at the way most go on about overrated Dan Neil and next England keeper Patti ffs

18 years old? Second top scorer at the club? And the consensus was that we had abysmal today apparently but had a 96.6% pass completion more interceptions and clearances than any other player? Was dispossessed once!

its time he started to show his potential...there have been times this season he should never have been selected to play. It's so blatantly obvious , even those who cannot see, he has a contract that requires him to start every game, even if it to the detriment of the whole team....that not a player we should be playing week in week out.

No one is as slow as Stefan Schwartz was. I think Lee Clarke is the second slowest I've seen.

Lee Clark made 19 first team appearances scoring twice at 18.

Stefan Schwartz at 18 made 10 appearances, no goals for Malmo.

Maybe they learned their trade and how to utilise their skill set after 18 years of age?

He does have potential tbf but he's no where near ready for first team football on a weekly basis.

It's all well and good letting him play and learn, often by being anonymous or poor all game, it probably will help him long term but unlikely to help us.

I think we've though if we can replicate his brother's form at Birmingham we can maybes get €25 million for him as well. His stats are similar tbf sockets hope scouts haven't been watching the games and just looking at the data like we do and buy him on his name value.
