Enjoy these quality youngsters why we have them. Last year there was even a dream they’d stay with us on the journey as the PL was available to play with us in.

None of our decent players after this season will see there being a medium to long term future with us now. That’s the worst thing to come out of this season. Clarke has 2 years left, if we’d have invested well and were to just miss out again, he might give us another season at least until the January window, to see if we could finally get over the line. We’re so far off now what a promotion side looks like he’s not going to spend any more time with us in his prime.

We will look back on this last 12 months and rue to shite decisions to not add quality and go for it. I firmly believe a few quality additions and we'd have challenged

This season will cause a lot of damage regarding attracting players as well.

Honestly, if we’d kept Batth and brought Seelt in gradually, bought someone of the ilk of Howson (not him but of the ilk) to protect the back four and a proper striker then there’s no reason to suggest we wouldn’t have.
It wouldn’t have cost the earth, either but then these only think of sell-on value when looking at players to bring-in it seems, not the benefit for the club on the pitch.

He's a good young player who has been overplayed this season. He has the potential to develop into a very good player at this level and beyond.
It is pure speculation to suggest that he has a contract that guarantees him playing minutes. As has already been said on here he works very hard and doesn't hide
I'm much more concerned about players we have brought in from supposedly elite English and European academy set ups. In their heads they are all playing in the Champions League when in reality they have no sustained impact in any game in which they play.
Burstow,Hemir, Ba, Pembele, Aouchiche, These lads are getting game time opportunities and showing very little. Add Styles and Hjelde to the mix and therein lies the reason we are struggling
Recruiting Jobe was a decent bit of business in comparison to those lads.

Even that strategy is fucked without a good short term strategy. Its mesmerising how they have gone about it even for the long term strategy. Who the frig are the young'ns meant to learn from?!

How many of those passes were forward? His pass completion stats are always good because he always plays the easy pass.

His forms been iffy but he’s our biggest goal threat after Clarke. He’s gotta play for that reason alone.

People rely far too much on stats. There's lies, lies and statistics.

We created very little yesterday, the only persons looking to go forward yesterday were Rigg, Aouchiche and Mundle. Rigg putting in the only decent quick cross with pace, for a long time, with the defenders scampering back towards their own goal. Then again he gets taken off. 🙄

Different argument. Those stats were posted in response to the “fact” he gave the ball away and got caught in possession a lot.

To pass forward a player needs options forward no? Even when we were a decent team earlier this season our forward passes, usually came from our right back or a centre midfielder dropping into the left back area.
 
Never takes a risk. Always safe to protect his stats as part of his career development plan. The fact we’ve bent over the facilitate it is probably what is irritating most people.
