Football Manager 2023

Started a season with Hartlepool, Promoted first go.

There predicted 16th but have a pretty strong team.

Loaned Mamari Camera from Reading.
Clarke Odour from Barnsley

January- Signed Lee Gregory. He absolutely banged them in as a Target Forward.

Won my first game in L1 against Rotherham.

Signed Carl Winchester, Albert Adomah and loaned Jobe bellingham.

Not signed many players this season, struggling to attract. So might be a few kids on Loan.

Hopefully Stay up this season and build again for next is the long term plan

Class. I’m halfway through the season with Spennymoor and sitting top of the Vanarama North.

Unfortunately I’m having a bit of a sticky patch at the minute. Gone from being 9pts clear at the top to 3pts ahead of Chester in 2nd but they have a game in hand :lol:

I’ve been drawn against Sunderland at home in the FA Cup 3rd round though but I have to beat League One Forest Green in a replay first. Hoping I’ll get through as it’s been great for my finances.

I’ve been trying to find some unreal regens for next to nowt on my Spennymoor save so I can bring some well needed funds in to the club.

I’m sitting 10pts clear at the top of the Vanarama North now. I did find one lad but he was French and couldn’t get a work permit. He was released by Burnley after 3 years as well — Anthony Gomez-Mancini he was called. Does anyone know of any workarounds for that?

Finally confirmed promotion. Won the league with 101pts and Glen Taylor banging in 49 from 46 games :lol:
 
Was 5 points clear of 3rd with 8 games left then Stewart got injured and I crumbled just couldn't score without him. Finished 6th and got beat on pens v Blackburn in playoff semis.

Sold Stewart for 25m but only got 10m to reinvest. Now top with a game in hand 5 points clear. Big gamble looks to have paid off

Gonna start a new season with the lads once the transfer updates out. Should have some decent options for different formations with the new signings.

I found Stewart to hinder my tactic as sometimes needing 4-5 chances to score 1 goal. Pleased you got good money for him.

Simms and Diallo just couldn't score. Was battering teams but losing.

Squads wafer thin when you start. He scored 64 goals like couldn't believe it. Now signed greek lad from Celtic as his replacement.

Don't like googling wonder kids games more fun when you rely on your scout reports
