So let's assume that's correct. Obviously despite me pointing out their attempt at sportswashing would show that it doesn't work on all supporters.
Anyway, shall we be very generous and say 500k Newcastle supporters are fully in support of all things Saudi.

How does Saudi Arabia benefit when everywhere else there's negative coverage? National media, other fans on social media, german clubs boycotting games.
What's the benefit of them hoodwinking half a million people in the North East vs all the negative attention from anywhere else?

They've got way more negative coverage than positive, so we must surely put this on the list of failed sportswashing attempts along with all the others

The reasons for the human rights abuses have absolutely nothing to do with my club. You know this because they were being committed long before the club was bought, and if the club was sold tomorrow the Saudis would continue with them as they're ingrained in their culture

I didn't say that we're not associated with them. Can't you read? It's the reasons for them which have nothing to do with my club
