The working class being oppressed mainly.
I’ve been going for years until the last couple. If you’re claiming you’ve never seen a bit of bother, you’re either looking through rose tinted glasses or frankly lying.
I haven’t seen a single bit of bother. Between spoons, outside pubs as the bands March past, down to the speeches, then back into town for some bait, one last pint then stagger on to the 20 bus at about 1800. Never seen any chew at all.I’ve been going for years until the last couple. If you’re claiming you’ve never seen a bit of bother, you’re either looking through rose tinted glasses or frankly lying.
You’ve obviously never been according to @houghton cut head.
No trouble ever apparently
I wonder if he explains why he was such a staunch Brexiteer?Mick Lynch to speak at Durham Miners Gala
Mick Lynch will address the crowds at the Durham Miners Gala. The RMT General Secretary has been added to the list of platform speakers, organisers Durham Miners Association (DMA) have announced.www.durhamminers.org
Is it relevant?I wonder if he explains why he was such a staunch Brexiteer?
It only took five posts on this thread before Brexit was mentioned so I guess it is to some.Is it relevant?

Oh dear, yet another who has fell into the "average/mean wage trap" nonsense that the right wing media has churned out.Or if he’ll explain why in a time every single person in the country is struggling, he thought striking with an average wage of 31k was the right idea. I keep hearing not everyone is on 31k, however to make that an average, some have to be on way way more.
Will lynchy be going by train?I’ve always enjoyed it, never made it to the racecourse before but might go along to see Mick Lynch

The dispute is about enforced redundancies, job cuts, rostering and other topics that the membership voted on to withdraw their labour.
And the increase in weekend rostering and subsequent drop in wages that they are trying to enforce?Okay so if they scrap the redundancies and job cuts they’ll stop striking?
Will they fuck
Aye blame the media mate

Is 'every single person in the country struggling'? Do you know them all like?Or if he’ll explain why in a time every single person in the country is struggling, he thought striking with an average wage of 31k was the right idea. It's about terms and conditions.Ah so it is about money
The fact is most people have little sympathy when they are striking but on salaries higher than nurses carers and real front line workers
