Nathaniel Hackett wasn't the play caller in GB, last time he called plays was in Jacksonville with Bortles. Mind Rodgers loved him, wouldn't be surprised if there is already some agreement behind the scenes.

He only has 1 year remaining because as part of his agreement to come back this season he voided the 2023 season from his contract. He did it so as not to be a "lame duck" quarterback, giving him more say in his future. I believe it's about $26m for 2022.You'd imagine thought it cost the Broncos a shit load of picks not to mention his massive salary. Is it 50m for the next two years?

I imagine multiple 1st round picks minimum will be required, he is going to be the MVP after all.
I agree, Packers are about $38m over the salary cap for next season and Davante Adams is a free agent, so the team around Rodgers is gonna be weaker regardless. I think it's a natural ending, and by reworking the money will be just pushing the problem into the future, Rodgers could probably use a change as well. You know it might be a good time to part ways. Although he's coming to the end of his career, you must be looking at two or three first rounders+ in a trade. With your cap problems and our division being dog shit (remember Hundley) it might be good to see how well Love can do and draft another in 2023 if required.
I’m convinced he’ll sit next season out and then rejoin the Pats for a swansong season - the yanks are worse than us for that sort of shitWithout Brady I don’t think I’d be an nfl fan. Absolutely gutted.

He’ll sign a 1 day deal and retire a Pat surely?I’m convinced he’ll sit next season out and then rejoin the Pats for a swansong season - the yanks are worse than us for that sort of shit
I do wonder if the NFL will retire his squad number. He’ll sign a 1 day deal and retire a Pat surely?
Already people tweeting Rodgers to the Bucs
I think the story sounds so plausible, it just gets reported as fact. If he does retire, I think it wouldn't just slip out like this.Reports he hasn’t retired?!
Could Mahomes be a realistic challenger? On for his third SB appearance already. He was incredible and there won’t be anyone like him again, certainly not in our lifetimes.
