I cringed a bit at the "we have much better supporters" comment. Not that I don't think we have some fantastic fans, but you are very well supported and hugely passionate about your team.
That aside I think it was pretty fair.

I lost interest after the first three words marra - we all know how football works. It's just one of those things and I can see where the lad was coming from.

It's one of the things I would look into when placing bets at the end of the season between top 6 side and the like, really didn't think so many would find it defeatist tbh, thought it was just normal thinking for evenly matched teams.

Have they? It was the opening day when we beat them and that was thanks to a last gasp header from Gooch. For a good hour or so of that game it looked very much like "fuck sake, here we go again".

They played well down their place and looked the more likely side.

I think they'll probably feel they're due a win against us, and I doubt anybody would be very surprised if they got one.
