I’m glad that someone else doesn’t know what a bus gate is! I was plucking up the courage to ask, wtf is a bus gate?

You either don't know your road signs or your shapes, stop signs are octagonal

Bus gate wasnt needed it was just thrown in on the back of the road works last year by some faceless out of touch over paid prick with a pencil and crayons....it's caused a rat run through elgin street its not solved nowt

Maybee when someone is knocked over something might change. Unfortunately its going to happen, but hey, at least the council have made a load of money out of the "bus gate".

As i said the perfect appeal is to say he came out of glasgow road as the sign isnt visible from there.

Points need to be reserved for dangerous drivers. Using a bus lane might inconvenience a bus but it isn’t dangerous.

Run a red - points

I don't know that area well. That's why I suggested he take the route he took and take images from his driving position of the signs and what he can see.

You said points should be given for dangerous driving and driving in a bus lane is not really dangerous.

I think it's arrogant to think that has no potential impact on safety, if everyone has that attitude then god knows what would happen.
