Sending your child to London

No, they didn’t.

They’re statistically more likely to be killed on the way to school than in a terror attack.

It’s plainly ridiculous what you’re saying.

Yes they did.

Statistically the majority who pulled out for that reason proved it.

They can charge as it's an optional holiday rather than educational. It was £280 for rail travel, public transport in London, accommodation, all meals including the Rainforest Cafe, a West End Show, open top bus trip and all attraction entry fees. Thought that was reasonable.
thats a good price in fairness. You couldnt do it for that i reckon, not with travel accommodation meals and entrance money plus spends

:?:

What?

So because the majority of people did something, it’s the right thing to do?

The parents are doing nothing but responding based on horrifically biased opinions and not facts.

If they didn’t want their child in danger, they’d not let them out of the house.

Like I said - they’re more likely to die on the way to school than to be involved in a terror attack.

after what i witnessed yesterday thats so horribly true matey

It might open their eyes to multiculturism as we still don’t have a huge amount of that up north.

I was thirteen when I went to London with the school, and for most kids on the bus it was the first time that we had seen a non white person in the real world!

brown people

I go there regularly with work and spend a fair bit of time down there (Kings Cross / Euston) area. It's completely run down with rubbish and litter everywhere, homeless and drunk/derelict people every 10 yards. The tube is crazy busy and dated with ignorant arseholes charging around barging people out of the way everywhere they go. There's a real danger of being mugged, assaulted, robbed or ran over on the streets. Other than that it's fine. In my opinion t's no place for a 10 year old from 300 miles away to go without their parents, but i understand that's just my opinion and that others (as this thread has shown) will have no problems sending their kids. I wouldn't try to change your mind and you wont change mine.
I don’t see any risk in being assaulted or mugged like.

You can't prove your point.

I've proved mine.

Muslim extremists target London the most.
Just because things have died down lately it doesn't mean it won't happen again soon.
The parents who stopped this from happening did the correct thing.
You do realise that the amount of deaths caused by terrorists over the last 15yrs in this country is ridiculously low don’t you? Yes, ISIS are shitbags but we are blessed with the fact that they are highly incompetent shitbags as far as terrorism goes.
There’s more chance of been knocked over by a car playing in the street at home than there is of coming a Cropper in London man
