In more or less the last scene there are some container cranes in the background.so when i go to see it am i allowed to then post about any historical inaccuracies i might find??
scoured the trailers to see if i could spot any but am impressed so far - all spits seem to have an oil cooler under only 1 wing which is always a good sign
There were troops left behind who had to be a rear guard.
I'm not knocking the troops in any way, just the leadership and strategists.

It as a good program. I saw it on TV. However there was, I THINK, flim-flam in its marketing.
I was born in 1944, so at school I was taught by teachers who included survivors from WWII. Some echoed the "absent RAF" thing. But lots of others knew that the RAF lads were fighting inland to keep the Panzers from the beaches. Others realised that the dog fights above the beaches were too high to see.
The BBC presented that as something unknown in these islands. Not by my generation.
So was mine. Served on a hospital ship. The Luftwaffe repeatedly attempted to dive bomb it.Me too. Me grandad was at Dunkirk. Rip.
I wonder why Hitler halted the panzer divisions when he did? They would have annihilated or captured the majority of the BEF.There were troops left behind who had to be a rear guard.
