Stelling's Rant re Hartlepool

We don't know what's going on behind the scenes but I'm pretty sure it runs deeper than Jones like. Sadly They've been shit for years
That sounds like the same bullshit excuse that's used for Moyes. Hartlepool, like safc haven't been relegated for a long time, and it looks like the respective managers carry the responsibility for what's happening this season.

Lost it big time, prick. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Always has a good chuckle when any of the prick panel takes the piss out of Sunderland.

He has a soft spot for Sunderland. Him and his son went to the Portugal preseason tournament a few year back.

I feel for Hartlepool but I agree he's become a parody of himself lately, like Kamara. He shouldn't be using his position to have a go at managers, he's only a presenter.

They might be going down because their players just aren't very good, just like ours. The players always get away with it. Then you get told, don't boo the players, it doesn't help them. Precious morons.

I prefer to watch the BBC version.Nowt but wankers shouting shite on Stelling's programme.
I watched it yesterday as I'm usually at our games but with a rare weekend without a game gave it a chance. Your review above just about covers it for me.

For those who haven't seen it:

Obviously trying to do a "Keegan" - doesn't even come close:lol: stick to shitty player's name puns.

It is bullshit but pools came down from league one only 3/4 year ago and haven't looked like going back up. Exact opposite in fact. The difference between Moyes and jones is 1s had a full season the other hasn't. I dont think Moyes is totally to blame here. However I get your point so Jones must also carry some of the blame.

Very unprofessional.

Yes, he's a fan of the club - but with him being on the board that's a shocking thing to say on live TV.

Fantastic to see a bit of passion, stir up a hornets nest! Love Jeff :)

If our fans had a bit of backbone like Jeff, we wouldn't be sitting bottom of the league & already relegated in August

He's a frustrated fan. Good on him
Passion. Enthusiasm. Loves his club. Rather he did that than sat there pushing out the depressingly predictable claptrap that the Likes of Merson and Thompson bore us shitless with every week.

Go for it Geoff.

And when we chanted 'Bruce Out' we wanted a bloke to lose his job.
.... and take his millions with him.

Why people lose their shit trying to prove why their point of view is correct whilst condescendingly looking down on people with opposing views is beyond me. It's life man get over it!!

Emotions running high it was like that at the ground yesterday. I thought Jeff was a tad silly quitting as club president but a few hours later he's joined the supporters trust as vice president, so fair enough. Incredibly difficult time for Hartlepool.

This.

Yes safc have been poor for half a decade but always managed to finish above 3 sides.

The fact that Moyes cant do that reflects more on him than the club.

A lot of season ticket holders at bairns footy match today.
Massive concerns for them the implications of the drop.
