To be fair to Jones, that's a fair & strongly argued response. Bottom line though is that Stelling is a fan - a fan watching his team slip into the abyss and desperate for action. If I was in his place and it was SAFC, I'm not sure I could keep my gob shot, either.

Jones is there to keep them up and get results - he's failing and should expect the stick, as should the likes of Moyes. This 'lack of respect' thing has it's limitations.... respect has to be earned and Jones ain't earned it at Pools.

Not buying into this. As I've said on the other thread, Jones was getting the dogs abuse and has been for a while off the fans but Saturday was unbelievable. Chants against him, fans trying to get to the dugout, fans getting thrown out for trying to get to the dugout, dugout surrounded by stewards, manager escorted away by 2 stewards..... Yes Jeff Stelling made his point known, but walking out that ground on Saturday, we all said we would be amazed if Jones was in the dugout on Saturday at Cheltenham, totally unaware of Jeff's rant.

When you have a manager saying this last week "“I’ve done this for over 1,000 games. That’s what I do. It works" - it's fairly obvious to me he didn't give a fuck about Hartlepool. If he thought his ways were working, he needs sectioning

Had a party yesterday n heard some queer stuff about Jones. Part owns a company with pools chairman, sons an agent, many of his sons players bought. Us daft kernts fund this gravy train at every level.

They reckon that striker they got in from Sheff Wed is owned by this agency company. Pam Duxberry

Even the mascot dressed as a monkey got dragged away from near the dugout
