Stelling's Rant re Hartlepool

Anyone else think he was abusing his position ranting like that about the Manager?

Was entertaining to watch but on a program where they constantly harp on about managers not being given enough time and having to work with limited resources etc it was massively hypocritical and totally unprofessional from a club board member to go on like that.

Surely he realises Jones hands were tied? Hartlepool have been battling relegation for years.

To be fair to Stelling, he pulled Charlie nicholas up when he said the same about Sunderland, using silva at Hull to prove him wrong.

He's on the board though. He mentioned resigning if Jones wasn't sacked. Don't think it's the most courteous thing to do to people who I'm sure he has some kind of professional / friendly relationship with

Yep they blew it by losing today and at Orient last week. Next weeks game at Cheltenham was crucial too but they had to ideally win one of the two just played

Don't agree. When Jones arrived he went on like Pools should think themselves lucky to have bagged him. His record is abysmal even though he thinks he knows football.
His demeanour at Orient was as if he couldn't care less and he probably couldn't to be fair.
