I thought they were movable on the 55, but not on the 49?
Nah they are fixed mate, shocking design really. We were gonna stick in another room, but didn't fit properly in corner due to the legs, ended up on the bedroom wall!

If you have a lot of damage usually add accidental damage to your home jnsureance, covers everything! Cheaper mate surely?
Aye the legs at either side were a ball ache. If you are handy you could maybe make something by attaching it to tv mount holes on the back.

That seems to be the fashion these days TV/S with stupidly wide legs. My Hisense one feet are virtually at each end of it.
Im deffo not handy like
Considered the wall but not sure I can get away with being further from the screen in general and having to stick to the TV being in one position
I couldn't dee it either like, just suppose its possible haha!
You could always get a bracket for the wall which has an arm I suppose where you can move it around?
Cracking TV for the price.
I'd hope so - modern tellies are miles lighter than the old plasmas!Just realised you can get a stand that the TV attaches to so that it would fit on the unit. Has anyone got one? Are they sturdy enough to hold the weight of the TV?

You can pit it to the wall too, for extra security. Good reminder for me, I need to do that with mine.
Its quite a large item with its centre of gravity in the middle - it doesn't take much to topple it over. So they advise you run a piece of string/cable to a screw in the wall - just for extra protection. How do you mean? Attach the stand to the wall? Have you got a stand for yours?

Yeh, that'd make a lot of sense. I think my telly has a simpler system, but its the same idea. You can buy the kits that plug into the visa mount holes and attach to the wall/the tv stand.
Mine also has a hole in the stand which you can screw into the cabinet.Yeh, that'd make a lot of sense. I think my telly has a simpler system, but its the same idea.
Whats it like watching SD content on it?
I've had no problems with it watching sd, you know them dvd screeners you get at oscar time it made them look decent.
Cheers. People go on about 4K TVs making SD stuff look bad etc.
What content do you watch in 4K out of interest?
I watch a lot of 4k rips, and Amazon Prime.Cheers. People go on about 4K TVs making SD stuff look bad etc.

My telly looks class in normal HD though, so I don't agree with the premise that a 4k telly makes everything else look crap
So, er, decent 27" Tellies anyone? lol
