I know people who were there, a lass I know was walking down a side street with her bairn (12 years old) when a group of Russians went past, one punched her in the face and another one gave her a kick on the ground as she tried to protect her bairn. But aye, they're f***ing mint and gave a real kicking to the provocative England fans. They were f***ing mindless cowards who were lashing out at people there for the football. Were some of the England fans drunk? Undoubtedly. Were some of them singing daft songs? Probably. That doesn't change the fact that these cowardly wankers were targeting any small groups/ individuals they could find regardless of their behaviour. Germany has moved on, it is a fantastic country with friendly people, who in both a professional and personal way have been good guys when it comes to my dealings with them.
