When the x-files did funny it worked well, and they didn't do it often enough to fuck the feel of the show up. One of the best stand alone episodes of the show imo.That third episode was f***ing bonkers!

I'm not actually sure whether tonight's episode is genius or just wrong but Tom Waits is on the soundtrack. I'm enjoying this series a lot!

They've turned it into a weak light-hearted romp, something that charlatan Nathan Fillion would be in. This is certainly not the X-Files. I wish I could unsee it.

Every episode has offered something for everyone to be fair, I personally think it's been a really good continuation, not perfect by any means but a good platform to build on when they make the next batch.
