Because the Tories would have been just as happy for Nissan to be based in Wales or Humberside and Nissan were intent on coming to the UK....there was no alternative

The turnouts are pitiful. I'm on somewhere today and we've had just over 100 people in 13 and a half hours.

No-one wanted PCCs and no-one cares about them either. I bet the Cleveland one will be under 10% as we had no council elections today to get people out.
