How desperate are them up the road?

Of course I can, you had the 2nd worst, but it was still significantly higher % of cap (88%) than Villa's (79%) and it was significantly higher in terms of bums on seats (43,071 v 34,480). How is this controversial?

Villa they have a large fan base to pull from, they're a famous "Big" club, they've only very recently been finding themselves in the kind of mess that prolonged exposure to would mitigate drops in attendance. Yet they have comfortably the lowest average attendance by capacity in the league. The people in that area who identify themselves as Villa fans simply aren't going any more.

Here's your Premier League finishes versus theirs. You could say that it's only since 2013 that they've been consistently in trouble. They've had poor seasons before (95, 03, 06) but bounced back, 2013 was the first year that they stayed in the doldrums. So given that, I can say that their attendances are poor and yours are impressive considering the context.

Is your life that bad that you have to spend nearly every minute of every day repeating yourself on your rivals message board?

Seriously, there must be something else you can do.

Making long, boring as fcuk posts too
My favourite trick is to reply to one of his posts then not bother to read what he says back

 the irony of someone on a message board telling someone else on a message board that they need to get a life and get off a message board.

Never gets old when we are classed as obsessed.

There was one thread a few weeks back when him and @Sima where on all day even till midnight on a Friday night.

 the irony of someone on a message board telling someone else on a message board that they need to get a life and get off a message board.

Especially when it's your rivals message board.

Is there no craic on a mag message board?
There is, and since the advent of tabs I can be on those too. And Leeds, and Burton and Villa... and I can do work and answer emails and watch sport.

I'm staggered that people who can operate software as complex as a web browser can't fathom the ability to do multiple things at once.

This is my point you argumentative prick, nobody apart from you and that other sad wanker give a fuck about the % of capacity.

That % is totally irrelevant, if it was relevant it would be used as stat every week. Your long and boring predictable posts are fuckin horrendous, false persona portraying yourself to be something you're quite clearly not. Give it up man, it really is becoming tedious. Stop clogging up a good forum with your nonsense.

 The classic "I bet he replies" reply.

The % Capacity is relevant because if Villa's ground was 20k and they got 20k, while their average attendance would be far below Sunderland's, they are filling their ground. See Norwich, capacity of c27k, regularly have avg attendances in the high 26 thousands (97%). I should judge them harshly because they only get 26k, when Aston Villa have c34k? Of course not. It's myopic to judge a team only on bums on seats, just as it is to judge a team's attendances without considering the broader situation they find themselves in. Are their fans protesting against a bad owner like Oyston at Blackpool, or Duchatelet at Charlton? Have the fans been starved of success for a significant period of time? Is there a disconnect between the club and it's fans?

But no, lets only look at reported attendances

I bet you reply.

The difference is, he takes about 10 seconds typing his reply. You write the equivalent of war and peace that no one can be arsed to read :lol:

My replies are often longer because there's a tendency to take shorter response out of context in order to win those all important internet points.

But don't worry, they don't take long to type out.
