Claudio v Takeshita was brilliant, I knew who would win obviously but it's an absolute testament to the quality of that match and the two involved that I was like "Oh wait are they actually gonna...?" like four times during the match.
Going to be gutted when Takeshita goes back to DDT soon šŸ˜‚, Iā€™d be amazed If AEW, NJPW or even WWE arenā€™t trying to sign him when his DDT contract is up.

Another NXT 1.0 released wrestler appears - Dexter Lumis. Ciampa used Gargano's finishers against Lashley which might be a hint too.

Trips really wants the band back together.
 
At what point do they just say that the person he paid was Ashley Massaro, and she killed herself in relation to it?

Trioā€™s tournament starts next week Young Bucks and a mystery partner v Andrade, Rush and Dragon Leeā€¦.. it has to be Kenny BY GOD Omega surely? Pleeeeaasssseeeeeee.

Thought Andrade/Rush v Penta/Fenix was great, Fenix legit looked like he was dead at the end šŸ˜‚

Loved Jerichos entrance as well, Mox loves the blood šŸ˜‚ Jericho gushing at the end as well.

On a side note FITE wasnā€™t working for the 1st 10 mins of the show so I missed the majority of the coffin match ffs, I liked the ending mind, will have to watch it again tomorrow.

Surprised Khan didnā€™t spoiler CM Punk return, refreshing.

Canā€™t say Iā€™m too ā€œgluedā€ to it at the moment. MJF is a massive miss. Wardlow has tied a title up with near enough squashes. PAC is defending his on the indies and we are waiting around for the inevitable with the main championship. Trios should be amazing but seeing the entrants, seems like itā€™s done at one of its lowest opportunities? Will Osprey and co arent AEW, these titles were first talked about because there were endless groups on the rosta. Tazā€™s stable, ripped apart. Jungle boy, Christian and Dino angry/happy man, no more. Thatā€™s just a couple. Oh and Dark Order dwindling.

Just canā€™t say it has my attention at the moment however I do hope and believe that can quickly turn on its head.

I think AEW has done well on debuts and people coming back as surpriseā€™s (even though we expect it)

I feel the MJF stuff has been delayed as they were waiting for Punk to come back as heā€™s entwined with that angle, obviously I could be wrong šŸ˜‚

Wardlow I hope he keeps the title a good while just to make the thing a bit more prestigious again after Sammy to Cody to Sammy to Cody to Sammy to Scorpio and feud with Sammy some more, it was awful.

PAC defending at indieā€™s personally doesnā€™t bother me as thatā€™s what I expected the title to be, basically used to work with otherā€™s and tbh PAC seems to always have a nightmare with travel issues ever since covid every angle heā€™s In gets put on hold constantly so that could be a reason for it.

I agree about the Trios, the tournament should have been bigger/longer and had better participants in (bit shit Cole,Oā€™reily and Fish are out) but if this means Omega v Ospreay albeit in trios Iā€™m all for it, if he returns of course.

Iā€™m fine with team taz being done Hobbs and Ricky should get pushed up the card as top singles now, I like the whole Jungle lad stuff apart from Luchasaurus becoming face again although I expect that to be a swerve.

On the Dark Order I think the reason Hangman isnā€™t tagging with the Bucks is because Tony Khan knows the dark order need some sort of credibility and with Hangman sticking with them helps, It wouldnā€™t surprise me one bit if Dark Order make it to the final against the the Bucks but it wouldnā€™t surprise me if they lost in the 1st round either šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Mind Iā€™m enjoying the G1 more than anything at the minute, been some quality wrestling.

Yeh, I guess we got so many debuts and surprises at once it was never and shouldnā€™t keep that pace!

I hope it is that for MJF. He can carry a huge angle and would absolutely get everyoneā€™s attention.

I donā€™t watch or keep track of the indie stuff so I get what youā€™re saying how they use that title and PAC and it does seem a good thing to do. I canā€™t moan about it if I choose not to follow.

Yeh, agree on the trios bit and what theyā€™ve done with certain stables. I just think there was a time when these titles could have been launched and there were more/stronger trios to go for them. I canā€™t remember all that are in the bracket but I donā€™t recall seeing 3 ppl from BCC or JAS, why?!

My only guess for BCC and JAS not being involved is theyā€™ll probably be on the All out card in some capacity but it shouldnā€™t matter really, it definitely started to late (tournament) they could easily have started 3 weeks back with more brackets, which in turn would allow more teams to be involved and involve their storylines whilst being eliminated , a bit like House of black and Miro, Darby and sting which I imagine will be involved in the first round against Dark order (I imagine anyway šŸ˜‚) but it could easily have been fleshed out.

Iā€™m sure it will be great still just wish it was a bigger tournament that could have showcased a lot more talent in the process.
