Wrestling - Part 3

I did back up everything I said.
šŸ˜‚
It's a very "fan" thing to attempt and completely out of their audience range.

but AEW fans? There isn't enough of them, that's a fact.

Is it completely out of their fan range, show me

šŸ˜‚ Isn’t enough of them, there’s a 130k on average watching the pre taped version on a Friday night man and more on FITE which is live there’s plenty, then add the European markets in, you completely made that ā€œFACTā€ up. As I’ve said they won’t sellout but they’ll probably do their best attendance number ever.
Nope

We'll see how it does but maybe booking his weekly shows and sorting his talent out might come as priority over booking a stadium in a different country.
Here’s another one replying to ā€œdo 80,000 people know who AEW areā€

Clearly they do, back it up for me please šŸ˜€

Mate, you've "quoted" me on all three points there. I think I'll step out on this. All the best

HHH opening the show yet again tomorrow.

Safe to say the public knowledge Vince is back and AEW's announcement has ruffled feathers.
Lmao at some of these salty comments šŸ˜‚ must have really upset a lot this being at Wembley, who the fuck cares man, it’s good for wrestling and more so the UK wrestling scene, regardless of what they do.

I don’t care much for WWE ( especially with Nonce tash Vince back) these days but I was happy for the people when they announced the show at the principality and O2 and wasn’t questioning how much it cost to host it there because you know I’m a wrestling fan not a geek who cares about the money side of things that doesn’t effect them at all (same as ratings)

AEW announces a UK show and everyone is critical as fuck šŸ˜‚ give it a rest, either be happy more wrestling is good for everyone or be a little bitch and get upset over something that doesn’t concern you.

I don't know why you're getting so defensive over the people bringing up attendances, it whole move oozes of a PR stunt to me. I don't even think Tony Khan himself is expecting to sell out

Endeavour have just hosted Clash, a UFC PPV, 2 fight night cards and is hosting MITB in the UK in the last 12 months

Tony Khan obviously wants a slice of that pizza before it's all eaten, with a message saying there's an alternative promotion being hosted at Wembley, come have a look.

I’m hardly getting defensive, my entire point is why does anyone care, it doesn’t matter what the attendance is, it’s more wrestling in the UK that’s all that’s matters, and of course he wants a slice of the pie he’s a businessman, he’s wanted to do a show in the UK well before the Covid outbreak.

What I’m actually getting defensive on is people making up bollocks and stating it as fact because they don’t like a company and I’ll call you out on that shit, regardless of what company it is.

On the come have a look, he’s doing his job then, trying to get eyes on the product.

It'll be full imo, this is not just an event for UK fans, but for Europe and the rest of the world. Americans will come too.

You can only fit so many people on a train or a plane you know, you aint finding 30,000 from overseas on a Sunday day before a working day. At this moment in time you aint finding 3 as the passport workers are on strike which could happen again.
Also. I couldn't help but notice Dave Meltzer #3 trending on Twitter, had a scroll why, he really has become a laughing stock, what's happened to him :D

Just absolutely bots AEW even if they are ridiculous.

The dream
Smackdown was weird. In that it was mostly good? That reaction to Dom was fantastic

EL Phantasmo got kicked out of Bullet Club after not backing Finlay as the new leader, big supporter of Jay White, if i was to guess i'd think we are getting BC v Wolfpac (Black and Gold) BC at forbidden door

Mercedes Mone retained in the trios match, great match check it out if you can but i wouldn't be surprised if she drops the title at the end of the month against Mayu as she's a big face in Japan and was meant to win the title originally instead of Kairi (didn't want to travel to the US apparently)

Aussie Open won the tag titles and the english commentary made a big deal about them having another match against FTR

Okada lost the IWGP Heavyweight TITLE to Sanada and posted this after
Thank you for your encouragement. I'm also looking for new scenery.

i'm just fantasy booking here but get him on Wembley show :)
Anyways best matches for anyone arsed (i doubt it like:lol:) Mercedes/AZM/Hazuki, Okada/Sanada, Sabre JR/Shota and Aussie open/Bishamon

I’ll be tempted closer the time for the Wembley show if there’s still tickets. I’d be a lot more tempted if Punk is back in the company (I think he will be). Got a feeling they’ll struggle to fill 90k but still think it’ll be a good size crowd.

In all fairness, I'm not a huge AEW fan, and they might find it challenging to fill a 90,000 seater stadium abroad, but I like that they are trying to push outside their comfort zone.

Either way, I think they will fill a sizeable portion of the stadium and it will be a good show because it really needs to be if they are wanting to broaden their horizons this side of the Atlantic.

The only thing that I don't understand with the decision is that they've left it until 4 months beforehand to announce it. This feels like something that they should have been pushing at least 2-3 months ago and getting huge hype and ticket sales starting early.
