Id argue that being able to keep well in SL actually shows that you are an exceptional keeper, so for me you can absolutely tick the box that says "best WK"
You're right about the quality of attack he has faced, but the only way we can have a wider sample size is actually giving him games.
And given Buttlers form with the bat from the winter of 2018 onwards, you cannot use runs/batting as the reason for selection, but Jos' stats make a mockery of that!
He is the best wicket keeper. Jack Russell was against Stewart and even Bob Taylor was probably better than Allan Knott who was still very good. However as things stand Foakes last test series against the WI he was hopeless against quick bowling and had a rubbish season against all attacks last year. As for Buttler he is struggling with his keeping but has just won a game for us and had 3 good knocks in a row. He's going nowhere at the moment.
