What a shit game

We were bang average for much of the first half but were still deservedly level at half time.

Second half was far better and we should really have been out of sight when we very nearly let them nick a point at the death.

Mitigating factors would include the disruption to the defence with Flanagan and James missing and the weather which was atrocious.

Positives - Honeyman was excellent, Catts and Power got a few more minutes in their legs and Watmore got another run out.

The result was the most important thing about today though and it's on to a big test next weekend.

I thought we controlled the game, pretty much. The difference today was that we didn't convert as many chances as we usually do. We had more possession and more opportunities to score than they did.

Happy with the result naturally but we seem to be going backwards in terms of performances when I expected the opposite to happen.
First 44 mins were shit. Once we were ahead it became a training session for us. We nearly chucked it away at the end, but we ground out 3 points. Onwards an upwards
We are hardly "going backwards" - it was an off day but we won.
