The problem is with Sunderland Labour council not other Labour council. How come they get it right but ours get it wrong in so many ways.I have had it from a reliable source a local repirter there is more pantomine party politics goes on at civic centre council meetings here much more tjhan any neigjbouring local authority and has been the case for years.Labour council /Party before Sunderland were his exact words.Again no answers & confusing defending with me asking questions.
You're using the term labour in a derogatory sense yet praise S.Tyneside labour council despite the town centre being shite.
I'll point this out again.
Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool & Birmingham are all Labour with vibrant city centres.
Their secondary city neighbours are also Labour but struggle to attract private investment.
Now why do you think that is?
Is it Sunderland councils fault for the state of Bradford or Wirral?
