US diplomats wife leaves U.K. after fatal accident

Boris saying chances of extradition "very low". The lads Mam has just been on the news saying the US have never turned down an extradition request from the UK.

Maybe that is because we only put the requests in when it's already been confirmed that the US will extradite.

There may well be cases where we have never submitted an extradition order because we know the chances of it getting accepted would be minimal

We all know the real reason there’ll be no extradition.

Trump’s America First policy ideology means he can’t show America not winning something. America can’t cede any ground in any circumstance. Allowing the UK to extradite Sacoolas means Trump isn’t putting America first.

Boris can’t challenge this either - he can’t put pressure on Trump because we’re dependent on the US for a trade deal.

Boris is effectively swapping justice for Harry Dunn for a trade deal.

Sickening. The family are also saying they've been given a lot of evidence and had other people get in touch with them about similar incidents involving personnel from the base.

Who will pay for the training? Why do we even have US service personnel in the UK anyway?

Why do the UK have them in Cyprus..why do wee have them in Germany

All part of NATO alliance.
The US bases have supported many rural communities for years.. when they close one it has a huge impact locally

I would imagine the US would pay for some driver training. It won't be that complicated other than remember to drive on the left.
O don't know if the US bases themselves operate a drive on left policy or follow the US. That may be one of the issues if people are flipping between the two
