I see you make no effort to engage what I said and continue with the same bullshit you and others like you persist with.
You take the view of the cranks, pretend that was the mainstream, and then say everyone was wrong and you were right etc.
It is not and never has been racist to say a lab leak was possible. I said it was possible multiple times. Unlikely, but possible.

The fact that said rhetoric made it to mainstream news therefore makes it mainstream.
The fact whether or not the left wing media dominated the landscape during covid, particuarly in the US, is redundant in this matter.
All discussion on this matter was labelled as pure conspiracy and left wing tryhards labelled it racist on their mainstream platforms. It is an incontestable fact that major publications and platforms parroted this line commentary because their utter contempt for Trump ultimately trumped objective reporting or analysis.
Any other way of looking at it is complete and utter revisionism and ignorance of this fact is literal contempt.
No it doesn’t. You’re just making that up. Lots of things are reported on the news - that doesn’t mean those things are mainstream. If the news reports on the story of a man who walks everywhere on his hands and knees, does that make walking on your hands and knees mainstream?
The “conspiracy” angle comes in because many of the people claiming a lab leak did so on the basis of zero evidence and often with the subtext that it was a deliberate leak.

The early claims of zoo-onautic (sp) are not part of the current narrative. They never did find the intermediate species by the way. Like they did with Pangolins. You mentioned China in another thread you started. I agree, they should be held accountable for starting what, 3 nassty viruses in the last 20 years. Or is it 2. I said they made lab leak claims at the time based on zero evidence.
I do not deny that as the years have progressed, evidence which has led some people to believe in the lab leak theory has emerged. Likewise evidence has emerged it is natural in origin.
The modus operandi of conspiracy types is to make as many wild claims as possible, because on the balance of probability one of them will eventually be true, and then they use this to establish credence.
I care little for what “the narrative” is. The body of evidence and consensus is at the minute a natural, zoonotic origin.
I do not rule out a lab leak, but consider it much less likely than a natural, zoonotic origin.
We may never know the true origin, as there are too many vested interests on both side of the debate.
The FBI and Department of Energy are the only two US agencies who believe it was a lab leak. Neither agency have “high confidence” in this assessment. The remaining six agencies with any kind of intelligence function, including the CIA, do not currently believe it was a lab leak, with four believing it was natural in origin, and two undecided, but again not to a high degree of confidence.
The level of confidence is important context here.

I think the people who suggested this are arguably well more informed than you and I and ultimately these suggestions were diminished because they mostly came from the right and that line of thinking wasn't tolerable, acceptable and creedence couldn't be given to their thoughts whether correct or incorrect because the left wing dominated mainstream media consumed itself on anti-Trump rhetoric throughout the entirety of his presidency.
It's revisionism to suggest otherwise.

I'm an average Joe and as i'm in China and the lab is close to Wuhan. It made sense that it came from there, i'm not a scientist. The FBI throwing their hat into the ring for example so late in the game doesn't validate my contibution to this debate which did not start in 2022 . I started sharing info on it in 2020. Before any of you buggers caught it.
It made ABSOLUTE sense that it came from the lab. There has been no intermediate species found that is responsible. NONE!
NOBODY has claimed "oh shit! it came from ant eaters who ate the bats"
Why would it make “absolute sense” that it came from the lab, when there’s already precedent for coronavirus of zoonotic origin in China?
It is certainly plausible that a lab leak could have taken place, which is why (for the millionth time) I said a lab leak was possible, back in April 2020 or whenever I was asked.
It took over a year for civet cats to be identified as the species implicated in SARS, but almost immediately you and others started pushing the lab leak theory.
You may well turn out to be correct - I’ll remind you that there is still no proof of a lab leak or a natural origin - but make enough claims and you’ll eventually get one right.
I could start a new thread on PF every day claiming we’re signing a player and that I am ITK. Eventually I’ll get one right. See what I mean?

There wasn’t a research lab, 5 miles up the road from the ‘Civet Market’, that specialise in ‘Gain of Function Research’ and bio-engineering SARS to increase transmissibility from cats to humans.
The circumstantial evidence for the lab leak theory is incredibly strong. Even today if you talk to people about topoics like EcoHealthAlliance, Dr Fauci, Dr Peter Daszak, gain of function research, congressional hearings, Senator Paul Rand, the list goes on and on and on, most people havent got a clue what you are on about.

I started calling BS on the whole CV19 topic within weeks of it breaking in the UK. The whole reaction of the media and government didnt pass the smell test. Ive got posts on SMB calling it out at that time.
We had a fairly decent ‘control experiment’ in the Diamond Princess. It was obvious it was a massive overreaction.
The figures didn’t add up either and had no context unless you found out for yourself.
Even the worst case sceanrios modelled by that clown Fergusson inly pushed the mortality rate back to where itbwas in the 70s.

The other thing is the experiments are 'unconstitutional' and illegal. Going to be an interesting year when the Republicans etc start getting people in court. 'Crimes against humanioty' isn't out of the question. The coropate entities are behind it all of course, pulling the strings. They will have their way in the end.

For example, when you raise the issue of the Diamond Princess. You have no greater access to information about the outbreak on the ship than what the media did, so how did you come to better conclusions than the epidemiologists who were given access to the data?
