Wind looks to be picking up again, can't have Speith getting an easy ride. Wet course and no wind and it is there for the taking.

Without doubt that place has the best practice facilties ive been to and a very friendly relaxed clubhouse to boot anarl

Aye it's not bad like. Only downside being ya can't get a beer in the clubhouse. You been to Ramside lately? The improvements they've made are top notch.

Speith is a miserable fecker like. Does he ever smile? Cant have him winning.

This. A few posts bumped. If he can post a good score today and some of the later starters go out in the bad weather the leaderboard could get interesting

Hardly, he was a bit of a prodigy who had a reputation for blowing the chances he had in the Majors. One of the youngest ever Ryder cup players and 3rd on the Order of Merit when he was only 21.
He went away and worked on his technique for a year or two and came back a Major winner.

kept fidgeting and tweaking for 10 years man. Much to the consternation of Peter Alliss.

Today was probably the most I've seen him smile on the golf course. I was actually quite surprised. It's working though. Probably his way of trying to block out the conditions.
