Old trains , trains need to be repaired every night , would have to pay more staff, not enough interest, trains go too near housing estates so can't run late

seaham is northern rail trains into sland/newc , they have just reduced the timetable

There's nothing wrong according National Rails Live Departures board. Nexus' website is down though. ScotRail have cancelled a load of services because of the weather. No trains bewteen York & Edinburgh on the ECML due to overhead wire damage.
