Almost definitely a money issue I reckon. They'll get someone, I just hope it stays the same. Wonder why Camerons didn't continue.

Independent, Mexico 70, Church Lads taking over.
It’s been hard holding our tongue for the last few weeks but :
We are really excited to say the that the team that brought you Mexico 70 are taking over the lease at the Isis as of the start of August.
We were terrified somebody might turn one of our favourite boozers into a fun pub or something !
The Isis is a great honest Sunderland pub with the best range of ales & beers around and we are intending to keep it running just as it was.
We get the keys on Thursday morning & are hoping to be open ASAP (maybe even Thursday night).
The M70 kitchen team is working hard at the moment on some exciting (non Mexican) casual dining options for the Isis & in the coming months we will be dishing up amazing food but for now it’s business as usual.
See you at the bar.
