Once got a lead weight straight between the eyes (lucky escape) massive egg appeared, got caught on the tree roots on opposite bank.
Lessons learnt now.

How did he nar it was a 5lb'er when he couldn't see it.....Fish jumps at 6:12 down the bottom of the stretch and he misses itwouldn't mind a day on that beat to be honest

Here is a photo I took of our secret Loch, it's unedited it might take a minute or two to figure out, it's a fair trek and only really possible to get to if you have a good 4WD for the first 8 miles followed by an hour's walk.

It is, it can make the fishing difficult when there is no wind, I've been looking at that photo in detail, I half expected I would see a trout.That water looks gin clear

I've never seen any signs but I expect it gets fished a few times a season.And no doubt they can see you.
I imagine the fish have never been hooked or fished for
