The Fishing Thread

I got home last Saturday, pulled my rucksack from the boot, took my outboard from the back seats and collapsed into a chair, Sunday I noticed I hadn't locked the car doors but thought nothing about it, Wednesday I went out to bring in my rods and then I noticed some slimy f***in tosser has helped himself to 2 fly rods and my Oakley sunglasses, if I find out who it was ...
Not good, I bet the rods have sentimental value and memories 😕

Funny enough not really, One was a 7pce I picked up cheap on facebook a month ago, it was a nice rod and it was going to get used, the other one was a back up 5wt, stupid barstewards left an RL Winston 9ft, I guess they took the ones in the Cordura tubes and didn't know that expensive ones come in a metal tube, I've picked up another 7pce Rod on Facebook for the Seatrout next week, I'm annoyed about the sunglasses I only just bought them and now have had to buy another pair, I'm tempted to stick a razor blade in the boot catch and slice the ***** fingers off.

Struggle to reply to you mate.
More than the value, why I hate the human race with bastards like that belonging to it.

I had a flat years ago and devised a fishing related anti burglar device for the back door.

Basically it was a string of Mustad 4/0 Big Eye chemically sharpened hooks hanging from a beam.

shame I didn’t catch a scum bag but glad I didn’t get burgled.

Would have been interesting to see whether you used backwind or the clutch to bring back the scum bag if hooked.

Fished it for years mate, it's a shadow of its former self now, too many idiots. Rather fish for bass on the marks everyone just drives past on the way to the mull.

There's better Pollack marks on the west coast now, if you're prepared to explore.
Always gets spoilt it was a good 20 years ago mind😄
Fish after fish amazing.took up the fly again so i go to sharpley springs now and then, when theres no wind that is which is rare lately.

Not the biggest, but the first of the trip.

The bay is full of feed, Sandeels, sprat and mackerel. I had to leave a mark last night cos the terns wouldn't give me a minute peace, regularly going for my plug while they were after baitfish
