TrueTesla will be bust within 5 years. They're swamped with debt, the reliability of their cars is at best shambolic and charging $1000 for a new wing mirror is nothing short of daylight robbery. A fool and their money are easily parted as they say.
Booked a test drive of the Model 3, just worried the size might be an issue, currently have a Range Rover Velar, and I love it, so the move to a smaller electric vehicle is a big change...
Can you not hang on a few months for the Y? Or take a look at the jag.Booked a test drive of the Model 3, just worried the size might be an issue, currently have a Range Rover Velar, and I love it, so the move to a smaller electric vehicle is a big change...
Ive ordered an S spec I pace through nhs scheme as was a nuts cheap price on the special offer, only downside was I couldn't change the wheels. If I put a normal quote on even on the S it was nearly 200 a month dearer. It is a strange interior like, I don't think there's any getting away from that, but it does seem to work!
Do you have to look at the middle screen to see the speed? There should be a HUD or something at least. I enjoy watching the Tesla Driver channel on YT to see the successes and failures of the autopilot system, it does seem to be a bit patchy still, but when it works, works well.
Strange that the I-Pace is cheaper than the Tesla but not around the budget. I wonder if they were only making the top-spec one available? I've gone for the base model, wasn't even offered the SE or HSE, and almost certainly couldn't afford them.
3.2 0-60 is just otherworldly though, chances are the only cars you'll come across on the roads that can keep up are other Teslas. Is there a non-supercar with an ICE that can do less than 4s?
Isn’t the Taycan meant to have a terrible range?
The Yanks tested it and gave it 201 miles. That’s bad.
Electric Porsche Taycan Turbo has a 201-mile EPA range
The Porsche Taycan Turbo, one of several variants of the German automaker’s first all-electric vehicles, has an EPA estimated range of 201 miles, according to government ratings posted Wednesday. This is the first variant of the Taycan — Porsche’s first all-electric vehicle — to receive an...techcrunch.com
Think the offer was only on a couple of days. Can't even list them to get a standard quote nowI don’t know myself what the website is but I’m sure if you google NHS lease or something it’ll come up. The person I know who works for the NHS and has an account on that website couldn’t find the Tesla deal, it’s not listed anymore so presumably sold out, unless they have more stock

Id take that if it is, it’s somewhere over 200, I think the Taycan is less susceptible to low temperature variations on the range. It’s a moot point for a few years anyway as the infrastructure just isn’t in place yet.
I’m desperate for an EV, now is not the time though given the vehicles available and the charging network is crap.
The base model is a similar price to the Tesla isn’t it?
£2k price difference between a Tesla S and a Porsche Taycan. There’s no choice is there?
It is apparently, I just think the 20s look better without being as mad as the 22s, was a massive sticking point as you couldn't change a single option on the offer, I even asked if I could change them then put the originals back on when i return, nope, get them painted black so not as obvious then return to normal state on return, nope.Same car friend! Not NHS though, and I have the exact same issue with the wheels. It doesn’t look as nice with the 18 inch 15-spoke wheels as the 20s or 22s but it’s apparently marginally more efficient on the 18s.
201 EPA suggests even less real world, maybe 190, it certainly doesn’t seem worth the huge huge price, but of course you pay for the badge too!
Impressive from the Kia.
A Tesla S beats the Porsche hands down.

But for the money it's a total no brainer I spend between 160 and 180 a month on diesel and we have chargers at work so wont cost me a penny.
What's the delivery time for your new car?Well that’s saved me a job as I was going to ask my employer to speak to whomever their car supplier is about the wheels
I’d rather have an incredible car with ugly wheels than my shit car that already has shit wheels though
