How will this go down with returning fans. Or will it be conveniently dropped on the grounds that it's served it's purpose just before fans return.

I think its blown over now,people have the virus to deal with and in a lot of cases getting back to work.
Take the knee for the health workers like doctors,nurses,ambulance drivers,porters and other public services who have stepped up.
Me personally would only take the knee for Her Britannic Majesty the Queen.

This was my thought on it. If i was a gambling man, i would suspect that most of a 30,000 crowd would not be pleased to witness it, however in a smaller setting, those who have been "priviledged" to be invited may not want to rock the boat.

Essentially it's because they are Marxists and although it's a legitimate cause it has been hijacked IMHO and lots of people realise this, I'm in agreement with Dominic Raab in that the only time I would take the knee would be for the Queen or to propose.

BLM is a massive movement with goals to stand against racial injustice and inequality. While some people within it may profess to being Marxist, it isn't a Marxist organisation and it doesn't have Marxist goals. Not everyone involved in it or who supports it is a Marxist. Fake news.

The term Marxist has been thrown about on this thread like an insult. Like some people throw the word Nazi about, normally unfairly.

I wasnt trying to suggest that the Red Flag was a Marxist anthem or that all people who sang it were Marxists. More that it wasn't. That would be a misrepresentation in the same way that one of the BLM founders staying they are a Marxist makes it a Marxist organisation is a misrepresentation.
